DESCRIPTION:

This is a thin laminate like material. The substrate is Class A fire rated and is flexible for curved applications. It is one of our thinnest substrates and available in 0.03” and 0.05” thicknesses. The thinner substrate has more flexibility. It is not structural, and therefore needs to be adhered to a substructure. It may be adhered with contact cements with standard laminating methods, or may be applied with wood glues in a standard cold press and or vacuum press systems. It cuts with conventional woodworking tools such as tables, saws and routers. It is not intended as edging as it will have a paper line edge material should be used for such application. On large surface areas miters are recommended to avoid seeing a paper line. Some KCD and L patterns are not available with this substrate.

As it is hand cast, all Kinon material varies in thickness. It will vary both within each sheet and from sheet to sheet. The thickness shown here is approximate, and will definitely vary.
