Selecting the appropriate substrate is critical to the performance, durability, and longevity of Kinon® panels. Below we outline recommended substrate types, compatibility considerations, and best practices for various applications.

Wood and wood-composite door and drawer front substrates may exhibit movement, bowing, cupping, twisting, or warping despite balanced construction and accepted manufacturing practices. Panel straighteners, stiffeners, or other corrective devices may be required and are to be specified and utilized at the discretion of the fabricator or installer. Variations within ANSI/AWI accepted industry tolerances shall not be considered a defect.
